Outlook Error "5objp" when setting up email on Outlook App

Try the following:

  1. First try signing in using the @myorg.onmicrosoft.com format email address. Example:  joe@myorg.onmicrosoft.com
  2. Use the same password as your email address.  This will fail, do not worry.
  3. This will open a fresh authentication session over the Outlook app.
  4. THEN, it will ask you to login again, and this time use the correct credentials there (Example: joe@mydomain.com), and it will properly redirect to the Outlook app which will continue to sign-in without issues.
